I ran for Union HS and Oral Roberts University in college and squeezed in running for ORU between commitments to the Marine Corps Reserve.  I deployed 3 times between 2003-2005, twice to Iraq.  In college I ran 4 years of XC and 1 year of track setting PR's of:

5k 15:40

10k 32:36 XC

I got back in shape in 2006 and lowered my PR at 5k to 15:38 at the Kansas Relays.

That's me behind Ritz, he may or may not be lapping me at XC nats.  At least he's in pain while lapping me.

Finishing at the 2006 Aquarium Run 34:02, got smoked by a HS runner. (bowing my head in shame)

2004 XC National Championships, one fo the best races of my life. 41:25 for 12k in the snow.
