She earned her degree in Broadcast Journalism and Meteorology, but has since turned her focus to health and fitness since moving to Oklahoma.

She has run 5 marathons, including the Rock n' Roll San Diego twice, Lausanne, Switzerland, Boston and the Dallas White Rock Marathon.  She finished second in the Route 66 Marathon in Tulsa, Oklahoma in Nov. 2006.

Marisa is a personal trainer at Sky Fitness in south Tulsa and enjoys sharing her passion for health and fitness with her clients.  She hopes to someday train for and finish a triathalon--maybe even an ironman!  Until then, she'll be running and lifting weights!
